Travel Booking Terms and Conditions
 

Customer(s) / Passenger(s) are  deemed to have read , understood & accepted the following terms and conditions when booking a tour package, ticketing and hotel reservation from HTC Travel Pte Ltd (The Company):

   
1. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT. A non-refundable deposit of S$300 per person is required upon booking.  If the tour fare is below S$300, full payment of tour fare is required.  The payment of deposit does not constitute the confirmation of tour.  Full payment is required 14 days of tour departure date.  Failure to company with this may result in an automatic cancellation of the passengers' reservation and forfeiture of deposit.
   
2. CREDIT CARD / CHARGE CARD. For payment made through credit card, an administrative fee is chargeable.  Credit card payments are not acceptable unless balance payment is made 14 days prior to tour departure date.  The Company strongly advise the passengers to make payment in cash.  In cases of credit card payment, refunds (if applicable) will be made through the credit card company.
   
3. CANCELLATION. Cancellations of confirmed booking must be made in writing to avoid misunderstanding.  The following charges will apply accordingly.
  The cancellation charges are charged regardless the passengers are affected by any unforeseen circumstances
  These cancellation fees are in addition to the non-refundable deposit of S$300.

4. ADMINISTRATIVE & AMENDMENT FEES. For each amendment made after a confirmed booking, an amendment fee of S$75 per person will be charged.  An amendment fee does not constitute a transfer to another tour, wherein administrative fee of $30 per person will be levied in addition to the amendment fee.
  An administrative fee of $30 per person will be levied for any visa rejection by respective Embassy in addition to the relevant cancellation change.
   
5. REFUNDS ON UNUSED SERVICES. Tour members should be aware that the Company is acting as an agent for the service suppliers.  After a deposit or full payment is made, all arrangements are still subject to confirmation.  When the arrangement cannot be confirmed, The Company will endeavour to notify passenger at least seven (07) days before departure and a refund of payment of tour fare will be made if the tour is cancelled.  No refunds, either in part or in full will be made for unused air tickets, ground transportation, meals and accommodation or sightseeing tours not taken.
   
6. TOUR PRICES. Prices shown are those currents at the time of the publication of the brochure or the price list which form part of the brochure.  They are subject to revision without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances like currency fluctuation, increase in hotel rates, airfares, other transportation costs, government taxes, etc.
  Tour prices excluded all taxes; consist of airport taxes, securities surcharges, fuel surcharges, customs duties, etc and charges or levies imposed by any government or their agencies. Items also not included are visa fee, insurance, laundry, phone calls, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, tips to local tour guides, motorcoach drivers, items of personal nature, excess baggage charges, optional excursions.
   
7. CHILD FARE .Eligible to child below 12 years on the date of departure.  Child fare is based on sharing room with two adults.  There will be an additional cost for child sharing room with an adult.
   
8. ACCOMMODATION. In the event that accommodation booked or requested is not available, every effort will be made for an alternative in another hotel of similar standard.  Accommodation for adults is based on twin or double sharing.  When booking triple-share rooms, take note that the third bed may be a "roll away" bed.  Triple sharing for all tours shall be subject to availability and request only, as some hotels do not have triple share rooms.  Single room occupancy is required to pay a single supplement.
   
9. SEAT ROTATION. For the convenience of all members of the group in a group tour, coach passengers are requested to rotate their seating arrangements on the coach during the period of tour. 
   
10. LOSS OF BAGGAGE / PERSONAL BELONGINGS The Company assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to baggage or belongings; either checked-in or hand carried, whilst they are in the custody of the airlines, other transportation companies, accommodation suppliers, during their stay in the hotel inclusive those kept in the safe deposit box or the passenger.  However, The Company will assist the passengers in making relevant claim(s) provided it does not interfere with, inconvenience or hamper the conduct of the tour or other members of the tour group.
   
11. TRAVEL INSURANCE. The Company strongly recommend that the passengers purchase Travel Insurance coverage with respect to trip cancellation. personal baggage, personal accident, injury and illness.
   
12. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS. It is the passenger's responsibility to obtain an international passport valid for at least 6 months beyond departure dates.  The passengers is responsible for relevant visas, current health certificates and necessary documents as required by the various government authorities or their agencies of the countries to be visited.
   
13. EXTENSION AND DEVIATION OF STAY / RETURN FLIGHT. Extension of stay / deviation may be permitted at the end of a tour, subject to maximum validity and restriction of air ticket, seat confirmation and availability of hotel prior to commencement of tour.  It is the passenger's responsibility to hold firm confirmation for their return flight.  When extension of stay / deviation is unable to confirm, passengers are deemed to be taking the original tour schedule.  Reverting to the original tour schedule is not permitted once it has been confirmed.
  Extension of stay / deviation will be at passenger's own expenses and transfer to airport will not be provided.
  For group package tour, the air ticket issued is a special ticket, restricted to a specific airline and class only.  It is non-negotiable, non-endorseable, non-reissuable, non-refundable and non-reroutable.  Any alternation in routing or dates by passengers are solely at the passenger's own risk.  The Company and its associated agents shall not be held any responsible for any inconvenience caused and extra expense incurred.
   
14. RIGHT TO REJECT. The Company reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any itinenary or booking made for a customer / passenger.  The Company also has the right to decline acceptance or to retain any person as member of the tour if it appears that such person(s) is likely to endanger the health or safety or impair the comfort and enjoyment of others on the tour.
   
15. POSSIBLE CHANGES. Airline schedules and local conditions may require sightseeing, hotels and routes to be changed.  The Company reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels.
  The Company shall not be liable for any cost expanses or damages whatsoever incurred which arise directly or indirectly due to flight delay, re-scheduled of flight.
   
16. RESPONSIBLITIES.  The Company is only an acting agent for the holiday components and will not be held responsible for any changes, acts of discretion or inconvenience caused by our suppliers and appointed agents.  In no case shall The Company or their employees or agents be liable for any causes outside their reasonable control  or from any act or omission of the customer.
  The airlines and transportation companies shall be exempted from all liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, danger, sickness or injury by whomsoever caused and of whatever kind occurring of or to passenger at any time when the passenger is not on board a carrier of conveyance used or operated by the transportation companies.
  Every individual participating in any tour / holiday package organised by The Company shall be regarded as carrying his / her own risk with respect to loss or injury to person or property.  The customer / passenger accepts full responsibility for losses and expenses due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine or acts of God.
  The Company shall not be held responsible for the deportation or refusal of entry by immigration authorities or tour members resulting from improper travel documents, possession of unlawful items or irregularities that may be caused to person or property.  All proper travel documentation are the sole responsibilities of the passengers.
  The Company reserves the right to alter any route, itinerary and / or accommodation without prior notice to the passenger if it shall in its sole and absolute discretion think this fit or in case of force majeure.
 

The Company reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any tour prior to departure in accordance with the operating requirement or circumstances beyond The Company's control or any other reasons including insufficient number of participants. Should this occur, The Company will offer the passenger(s) an alternative arrangement.  If there is a difference in cost this will be for the passenger(s) account.  If the passenger(s) do not accept this alternative arrangement, within seven (07) days The Company may treat the booking as at an end. The Company will refund all monies and will then be under no further liability.  The Company are not responsible for any costs for other travel arrangements affected due to its cancellation.

 

No guides, tour leaders or other employees or agents of The Company is authorised to commit The Company to any liability whatsoever and The Company will not bound by statement or representation unless it is in writing and signed by The Managing Director or a Director of The Company.

   
17.

COMPLAINTS / CLAIMS. Any complaint / claim must be made in writing within 14 days from date of return.  No responsibility is accepted in respect of any complaints / claims which are made after 14 days of return.
